“An Introduction To Italian Wine”

A wine appreciation course hosted by Dave Mullen

Our first Introduction to Italian Wine Course wraps up this week and based on the positive feedback we have received it has been a great success!
We would once again like to extend the invitation for you to experience all that Italy has to offer, with our second course beginning August 25th.

Italy is the world’s leading wine producing country. It is not only the biggest producer in terms of volume, but also the most diverse and arguably the most interesting.
Held over three consecutive weeks for two hours per week, you will have the opportunity to develop a greater understanding and appreciation for some of Italy’s most popular wine styles.

Each week eight different wines will be tasted, each selected for their strength of varietal and regional character.
Biscuits and mild cheeses will be provided and a main course will be served to pair with the last bracket of wines each week.

A Brief Course Outline:

Week 1 [August 25th]: Sparkling and White Wine
Wines: Prosecco and Franciacorta, as well as a selection of white wines ranging from the north to the south of Italy
Main Course: Grilled fish in dill, parsley and citrus crumb with fennel and rocket salad
