Talisman Wines is located in one of the most elevated areas of the Ferguson Valley in the South West Geographe region.
Talisman is a family-run boutique winery that consistently turns out gold Halliday scores and was awarded ‘Small Producer of the Year’ in 2017 by The West Australian Wine Guide.
Kim and Jenny Robinson initially bought their slice of land 30 years ago for its stunning beauty and as a getaway destination for the family. They began planting carefully selected varietals on the site in 1999 with the help of a local viticulturist, playing to the strengths of the soil and 10 hectares of sloping landscapes. The winery is now run by Kim and his daughter, Anita.
Their 2019 ‘Gabrielle’ Chardonnay took out the top spot at the 2020 Blackwood Valley WA Boutique and Single Vineyard Wine Show, backing up their success from 2019 with trophies for Best Wine of Show, Best Chardonnay, Best WA Boutique White Wine and Best WA Single Vineyard White Wine – no flash in the pan!
The Robinson’s opened their cellar door in late 2020 and are excited to be able to show more people what they’re capable of.
