Having only bottled her first wine in 2016, Antonella Corda has made significant impact since. She immediately made her mark in 2019 winning the prestigious “Up-and-Coming Winery” from Gambero Rosso. Since then Antonella has won 3 Tre Bicchieri awards for her Cannonau di Sardegna.
The Tre Bicchieri award is the highest rating possible in the highly respected Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide; considered by many as “The Bible of Italian Wine”.
Just like her Grandfather, the famous viticulturalist Antonio Argiolas, Antonella is putting Sardinian Wines on the map, whilst catching the attention of many a wine critic. Jancis Robinson MW, wrote a glowing article and featured Antonella Corda’s Cannonau di Sardegna as “Wine of the Week” and saying it “definitely belongs in the group of the most winning examples of this grape”.
Antonella describes the 2019 harvest as ‘one the most beautiful ones we have done’.
