TE Pā

Marlborough, NZ
"This precious piece of land on the Wairau Bar is the backbone of our family. We trace our lineage back 800 years to the early Māori explorers who first landed here. That deep connection to land and sea, through generations of whānau, ensures everything we do is full of love, care and respect - and we’re proud to bring it all to life in our wines."

More about the Producer

In 2015 we began the search for a quality Marlborough producer that we could introduce into the local market – te Pa was the wine that ticked all the boxes and we commenced distribution in October 2016.

te Pa offers a quality range of classically Marlborough wines and while little known in WA, are well established in most markets around the globe.

They are a producer that had initially bypassed Australia due to the heavy discounting of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, something all too common over the last couple of decades.

So for us, they are a perfect fit – quality focussed, well priced with authentic regional character, and they have had more than their fair share of international wine show success.

It is not only their Sauvignon Blanc that is outstanding. The 2015 te Pa Chardonnay collected a gold medal at the 2014 Decanter World Wine Awards and the 2016 Chardonnay was rated the number two Chardonnay in New Zealand by ‘wine bible’, Cuisine Magazine.

te Pa was named Marlborough Pinot Gris Winery of the Year in the hotly contested 2017 New York International Wine Competition.
