Val di Suga

Montalcino, Tuscany
Montalcino, which offers such different features, gives Val di Suga the chance to make wines with great depth, but original and with character at the same time: three different exposures, three different geological features, which make for wines that are three completely dissimilar interpretations of Sangiovese.

More about the Producer

Localita Val di Cava, Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy

Val di Suga makes wines from three terroirs in Montalcino, a total of just 55 hectares all planted with Sangiovese Grosso.  The Vigna del Lago where from the elegant Brunello wines are made, the Vigna Spuntali terrior where from the robust and structured Brunello wines are from and the Poggio al Granchio where the wines are typically fruity on the nose with higher acid levels.
